at this point, I want to thank YOU for reading this blog. In the beginning, I didn’t have the intention or the slightest idea that anybody (besides my ma and pa and some close friends) Thanks, ma and pa and close friends, lol) would read my blog. But things almost always turn out differently, don’t they? The most read blog so far is one I just didn’t know what to write and most comments are in blogs I really questioned the blog thing and all around it. Funny, sometimes!
Well, since I started writing the column for a newspaper in Switzerland an went more and more into the west, I passed this address on and people did (really) visit this page…
So the hits rocketed skywards (at least compared to my feeling towards it. I don’t read blogs, but hey, chaqu’un a sont gout!)

an dieser Stelle möchte ich mich ganz herzlich bei DIR bedanken. Ich habe diesen Blog begonnen und mir gedacht:” Na ja, ein besseres Tagebuch, das ich sicherlich nicht verlieren kann.” Das sich herausstellt, dass dieser Blog tatsächlich gelesen wird (um ehrlich zu sein, ich habe bisher nie Blogs gelesen :), hätte ich nicht erwartet.
Ich habe die Adresse anfänglich meinem engeren Freundeskreis versandt. Dann natürlich immer wieder auf dem Weg nach Westen weiter gegeben. Kurze Zeit in Frankreich ist das Ding dann zweisprachig geworden. Nachdem ich in Südspanien die Idee hatte, das Tagblatt um einen Kolumnenplatz anzufragen, sind die Zugriffe auf diesen Blog förmlich ins All geschossen (für meine Verhältnisse).
