Es ist Zeit zu gehen. Jean erwartet Fab und Nere am Freitag und will das Boot auf Vordermann bringen. De facto – wir stören hier. Es ist Zeit zu gehen.
Ich habe meine Kleider seit langer Zeit nicht mehr gewaschen und versuche meine Körperhygiene so gut als möglich aufrecht zu erhalten. Dies stellt im Moment die grösste Herausforderung dar. Ich bin mal gespannt, wo es uns hin verschlägt. Nächstes grösseres Etappenziel ist Panama und anschliessend die Frage, wie wir nach Südamerika gelangen.
Jo hat uns am Abend zu Pizza Hut Pizza eingeladen. Ich dachte mir, dass dies ein netter Abschied sein würde. Tja, wenn da nicht Herr Alkohol mit im Spiel gewesen wäre (vielleicht trinke ich deshalb so viel heisses Wasser :), haben sich die beiden Franzosen doch am Schluss noch verbale Kinnhaken gegeben. Jean, völlig ausser sich, hat mich danach eine Stunde lang beredet und ich habe geduldig zugehört. Ich bin mal gespannt, wie der Abschied Morgen sein wird.

Time to leave. Jean is expecting Fab and Nereyah on Friday, so he wants to polish the boat. Of course that there is not enough space for the three of us anymore. Time to leave.
My biggest challenge right now is to keep my body hygiene up and running. I haven’t washed my clothes for a long time, the temperatures here are tropical. You basically sweat all the time. With two shirts and one pair of trousers, it is hard to be “limpio”. 🙂
I try. A washing machine would be a gift from heaven. Showers, well… don’t think about that right now. I wash myself in public washrooms and toilets again.
All’s well that ends well. At least that is how is written. We went, after being invited by Jo, to Pizza Hut and some bars and ended up at a students party of Semester at Sea. There Jean and Jo got entangled into a verbal fight (man, at the end 🙁 and so I listened to Jean’s version of the truth for an hour or so.
I really do agree with Jean that you should find a good ending to a story. But I have not been hurt, so it is easy to say.
We are leaving tomorrow.
