This morning, I wanted to get up early to phone the airlines due to the different clocks we are running on. That said, my insurance guy phoned me at 5:30 am, so I thought What the hell, I might as well phone the airline.
Around two hours, several phone numbers, lots of deep breathing in and breathing out’s and general bad reception, I had this one image in my mind. on the tenth day at ten a.m., nobel silence ended. what happened afterwards is hard to describe in words, but no matter how many people take part in such a retreat, for me, every time it feels like being placed in the middle of New York City, Kathmandu downtown, bejing central, in a teacher’s conference, just NOISE and it didn’t quite stop.
